Medium PDR Variations and Elevations

The background wall of dining area and lounge area is a “must have” design. When two private dining rooms are joined together, the background wall of the dining area will be recessive panels to separate or connect those two rooms. There are two material options for those panels: theme wallpaper or metal etching plates.

The private room should have natural light whenever possible. Taking into account a variety of site conditions, the guidelines provide for two options. One option is glass wall with fabric curtain. If subject to conditions it is a solid wall, it will be decorated with fabric covering or wallpaper.

The medium-sized private room epitomizes refined elegance. It is divided into dining area and lounge area. The background wall of the lounge area comprises of sliging panels and there are also themed panels with a 3-D effect achieved with panels of semi-translucent, reinforced glass. These 3-D panels are made by sandwiching thin silk material between glass panels so together with concealed back lighting, creates a semi see-through effect bringing to mind an image of a shy classical oriental beauty of olden times. The background wall of the dining area is made up of several panels which can be recessed to combine two medium-sized PDRs into a larger PDR. Similarly, there are two materials to choose from and the metal etching place effect is shown here.
